What People Are Saying

'A brilliant display of how strength in independence can create a roadblock to acceptance. Rebecca Brayboy takes you on a journey to renewed faith and love in a culture where God, faith and community remain strong and relevant. '

Welcome to my Website

If you’ve ever believed in second chances…
If you’ve ever come home to heal…
If you’ve ever found strength in faith, family, and the women who pray beside you…

You’re in the right place.

My stories are set in the heart of Robeson County and rooted in the lives and traditions of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina community. They are small-town, faith-centered, slow-burn romances where love doesn’t rush — it restores.

Here you’ll find:

  • Second-chance love stories

  • Women rediscovering hope

  • Men learning how to come home — in more ways than one

  • Strong family ties

  • Sunday dinners after church

  • Community events that bring everybody out

  • And a whole lot of prayer, grace, and quiet perseverance

Stories of Faith, Family, and Finding Your Way Back

My first series centers on a women’s Bible group — women who have walked through heartbreak, loss, betrayal, and disappointment… and still show up every week with their Bibles open and coffee in hand.

Each woman will have her own love story.
Each book stands alone.
But together, their lives intertwine — through church pews, kitchen tables, community fundraisers, and lifelong friendships.

You’ll see familiar faces across every series I write. Because in a small town, everyone knows everyone — and every story connects.

These aren’t flashy romances.

They’re gentle. Steady. Rooted.

They’re about:

  • Restoration instead of revenge

  • Grace instead of gossip

  • Healing instead of hardness

  • And love that grows slowly, deeply, and with intention

Why I Write These Stories

I wanted to write stories that were not just about falling in love, but were about falling in love with God. Stories where people struggle with real problems and find real solutions in real ways.

I write about women who stay.
Women who return.
Women who rebuild.

I write about men who learn humility.
About families that aren’t perfect but are faithful.
About communities that carry one another through.

Most of all, I write about the kind of love that reflects God’s patience — the kind that waits, forgives, and restores.
